No person with actual power reads anything like this. No person with actual power is likely to understand it. In fact, most people with power viscerally react against such pieces, let alone the whole output of the most biased field there is, Sociology.
So, though I think I agree with most of it, I"m not sure. I do have a doctorate, and I write, but its just sooo hard to understand.
One thing though: "the period of historical colonialism" - I would love to hear form a sociologist when this was? 1492-1945? Figured. Or have there been other colonies aside from those white guys we hear so much about?
