This is horrifying. I had no idea.

Yes, most Americans had and have no idea. I even approached Democracy Now! with this and so many media orgs are passive to address this subject (even if Amy Goodman has very well covered the CIA black sites). The ACLU was great, however! Their work is commendable on this, as well as the other organisations. I have a book on what went on in the years post-9/11 in New York and it is a combination of hopeful and terrifying. I should perhaps have added images from an art exhibit on these men. But I will follow this up with more in the future because I am very passionate about the rights of immigrants, myself being an immigrants 80% of my life (I am also currently an immigrant).

Take a look at what good work the ACLU does on this subject. It's horrifying to see what the US has committed to: https://www.aclu.org/sites/default/files/FilesPDFs/un%20report.pdf

That's great that the ACLU is on their case. Too bad we can't trust them to support women against the trans extremists.

Thank you for your online investigative journalism. I wish there was more that I could do to support your work beyond sharing. You've been instrumental in my own development as a gender critical feminist and responsible citizen.

Yes, the ACLU has a sad record on women's and children's rights. As you probably know I have been covering the sports issue which they have stuck their nose into. I have whiplash from the logical incoherencies there. Wow!
