Fully agree with r/wing Israeli human rights abuses of innocent Palestinians for decades.
This article does not note though that there was no Palestinian state in 1947, or 1847. The Ottoman Empire was no friend of Palestinian Arabs. No, it wasn't empty land, but it was the logical place for those innocent people having endured a holocaust to settle. The fact it has been done so violently by Rwing Israelis, as the two groups differed over decades in power/strength, does not mean the Israeli states origins were not just. Also, the decades of economic and industrial development Jews achieved were just that, a major achievement, with the Palestinian people were not prone to do or capable of. I hope the Israeli Left can combine with the less radical representatives of the Palestinians to find a solution. Fact is when you are far outgunned, you can't fight fire with fire - the only way forward is finesse, unified or not. Unification sounds great, but reality always wins.
