I suggest you listen to the talks at the UN last week. Arab countries have consistently expressed peaceful intentions towards Israel and their words have been consistent for decades on this. To include this past week. Israel is committing genocide and now terrorism in Lebanon. Iran made a precise military response last week killing zero civilians. There is no "side" to be on when it is clear who the aggressor is.

To argue those groups, who are Israel's enemies, and Iran (ok not an Arab country but I assume you get the connection) have not threatened Israeli annihilation since most of us were born is to spend too much time listening to the UN talks last week while ignoring decades of ire toward Israel, and that, um Holocaust that is central to Israel's existence.

Are you serious. Israel has enjoyed decades of exceptionalism on a massive political scale, to include the genocide it has been undertaking. I have lived both in Israel and the West Bank and I know the history and contemporary situation well. Arab countries have for decades asked for Israel to stop its apartheid and to cede to the creation of a Palestinian state. If you even look at the recent reaction to Israel's terrorism towards Lebanon, it has been quite anodyne compared to what Israel has exacted to the good people of Lebanon and Gaza, and increasingly the West Bank (again). "um Holocaust"? It's quite cozy to mention the Holocaust while that country enacts the erasure of the people whose land it coopted, whose human rights it abuses. Ritually. Israel's history is clear. I can't for the life of me understand why you distort facts to suit your prejudice. It has been Israel threatening the annihilation of Lebanon, of Gaza. And they are clearly attempting to do so.

Three other Arab countries threatened a 19 year old nation in 1967 with border skirmishes and then lost the war. Too bad. You lose, you lose. Two other Arab countries attacked in 1973 on a holiday. Other Arabs have, since the first Intifada, threatened to annihilate Israelis. Iran, yes, Persians but in cahoots with Shiite Arabs, has threatened to annihilate Israel since most of us were born.
"Israel has done to the good people?" What of what Arabs/Iran have done to the good people of Israel?
As I noted above, erasure? Israel could erase half the region. This is inflammatory.
You choose to ignore WHY in 1948 the state was formed, its deep (er?) historical roots there, and of course all those Arab (and Indian/Iranian) flirtations/alliances with the Nazis.
