Corporate Media’s Dehumanization of Palestinians, Lack of Historical Context, and Repeating Hearsay As Fact Make the Current Tragedy Unintelligible to Americans
1. US media does not fan the flames of genocide. Its mostly sh*t reporting that some watch and most don't.
2. There is no genocide. That is sloppy.
3. If you are poor, fundamentalist, ignorant and medieval, don't kill 1000 innocents in a powerful state, regardless of your view of the (very recent)past.
4. If you live high on the hog in the West, perhaps stop defending not innocent Palestinians, but actually murderous terrorists. There are flights that way if you really care so much.
Like most liberal, historically minded westerners, I know which side I am on now. I have no cultural connection to Islam and have no sympathy anymore for its radical nutbags. The #45 bus goes to Palestine from Tel Aviv.
Sure, but is there media anywhere on earth that does any better? No. The Arab, Asian, Latino, African media are like the West in the 1950s. So we're asking a lot.
Also, if you don't murder like Hamas does (even without baby/rape etc), none of this would be in the media.
