I tend to agree with the critique. I tend also to think most people don't know what its like to defend the interests of the most powerful nation on earth, for decades. He wasn't evil; he was Rumsfeldian, and he likely kept this country safe and prosperous, for us critics...not to say he didn't ruin the lives of millions of non-Americans, on which I'd agree. But who in power ever cared for other peoples peasants?
