What? Did I hear you say, Julian, that you like to wear Laura Ashley? Give me back my money immediately! No, I joan you. I at one time loved Laura Ashley. She wouldn't fit into my wardrobe now. I go and have gone for many years with the slacks and tops look, dressed downed or dressed up as mood or venue demand. I have read Gina Rippon, so I am so glad to listen to this interview. Imagine Baron Cohen contacting her interviewers. Incredible. That speaks directly to his anxiety about Rippon's evidence that there is no female brain: His ideas depend on finding one. May he lose his way following a meandering path with no search party at hand....

I apologise for very late reply. I need to fix my settings I believe. I was making fun of Laura Ashley. I don't know why I do, but when I think of bad clothing in the 1980s I think of her designs and patterns, shoulder pads and those big belts. I am guilty of having worn the last two :)
